Healthcare Liaison/ Marketer

Responsibilities

• Daily travel to local hospitals for onsite assessments of referrals for skilled nursing facility.
• Develops and cultivates relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, LTACHs, physicians, etc.
• Provides accurate and timely onsite assessments of referrals for skilled nursing facility.
• Assists with insurance authorizations, approvals, and the admit process.
• Absorbs and reviews clinicals to assess payer sources.
• Utilizes marketing and sales techniques to generate new business.
• Works effectively and efficiently under pressure and within time constraints.
• Collaborates with internal admissions department and facility marketing directors to grow census.

Requirements

• Background in healthcare required.
• Experience in a Long Term Care Facility, hospital, healthcare facility, or other medical setting preferred.
