Healthcare & Insurance Transactional Of Counsel or Associate Attorney - Minneapolis

About the role

The Stinson LLP Healthcare and Insurance Division seeks an Of Counsel or Associate Attorney with at least two years of transactional experience to join our Minneapolis, Minnesota office.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, corporate governance, entity selection and formation, business succession planning, private equity, and investment financing transactions.
• Provide transactional and governance counsel to clients in regulated industries such as healthcare providers, health plans, insurance companies, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, finance, agribusiness, manufacturing, and telecommunications.
• Identify, analyze, and integrate regulatory considerations in health care and insurance transactions.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience representing clients in regulated industries in mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, corporate governance, entity selection and formation, business succession planning, private equity, and investment financing transactions.
• Active license in Minnesota or the ability to waive into practice.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic credentials.

Skills

• Experience identifying, analyzing, and integrating regulatory considerations in health care and insurance transactions is preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $205,000 – $275,000. The salary range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
