This position is responsible for performing a number of key business analysis functions and is under the general supervision of the Senior Manager, Analytics and Data Quality. The Healthcare Informatics Analyst will proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs with a focus on delivering analytics to business users. The position requires independent work with users and vendor staff to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain detailed performance analytics for various departments and stakeholdersEnvision, develop, and create ad hoc analysis/reports as requestedManage full cycle solutions from requirements gathering through report authoring, documentation, and training for super usersDesign and develop dashboards and reports to support population healthProvide leadership in the design and development of data warehouse / business intelligence solutionsReview and recommend business process improvementsParticipate in projects as requestedCollaborate with other departments and members of the HEALTHeLINK Team as neededOther duties as assigned Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Business Intelligence (BI) knowledge, demonstrated analysis and design skillsAbility to think analytically and be a problem solverExperience writing SQLKnowledge of BI and analytical tools such as Pentaho, Cognos, Business Objectives, SSRS, Elastic Search, JSON, or AccessUnderstanding of relational database concepts, technology standards, and architecture principalsExhibits professional demeanor, interpersonal skills, and excellent customer servicePresents ideas in a concise and focused mannerEnsures compliance with standards and architectureKnowledge of programming language(s) and tools a plusDemonstrated ability to consistently and reliably perform duties in a timely fashionSelf-starter with the ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlinesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailPolished communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge of computers and Microsoft Office SoftwareAbility to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines and company goals QualificationsAssociate degree or higher preferred Physical Requirements:The physical demands are representative of those that must be met to perform the essential functions of this job.
