Healthcare Industry Reporter and Storyteller

Role Description

Tennr prevents delays and denials by ensuring every referral gets qualified and processed promptly. Our marketing team connects with and helps create value for various audiences by providing novel, useful information and analysis. We're seeking a new member of the team to take on this responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Identify stories and opportunities for Tennr to produce helpful material for our audiences
• Research topics and interview sources to thoroughly understand the situation and information you’re writing about
• Deliver content across news, educational resources, data storytelling, industry analysis, or market analysis—basically, anything you think our audiences will be interested in
• Help support Tennr’s content needs outside of your core storytelling responsibilities, including running occasional webinars and helping prepare speakers for talks at conferences
• Join us in-person four days a week at our spacious office in Hudson Square (with the fifth day remote-optional)

Candidate Qualifications

• A writer who’s obsessed with craft and clarity
• An experienced journalist with at least 3 years’ experience at a newspaper, industry publication, or other media company
• A curious person who needs to know the whole story and who isn’t afraid to do truly deep research
• A college graduate, or someone with enough additional comparable journalism experience to replace the degree
• Someone who thinks it’s rude to expect audiences to read AI-generated work
• Someone whose prior reporting experience (or other work experience) has focused on some aspect of healthcare, especially through the lens of business

Compensation Range

$130K - $155K
