About the role
SHI is seeking a Content Strategist & Writer – Healthcare to support our Healthcare business. This role is responsible for developing clear, compelling content that supports brand positioning, campaign performance, and product storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content strategies aligned to business goals, go-to-market motions, and healthcare audience needs, translating complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives
- Collaborate with campaign managers, sales teams, field marketing, and subject matter experts to create accurate, relevant, value-driven content tailored to specific personas, industries, and buying stages
- Create product-adjacent content, including solution briefs, one-pagers, FAQs, messaging frameworks, and web copy
- Produce full-funnel, prospect-facing content such as blogs, eBooks, whitepapers, webinars, email copy, and landing pages
- Ensure consistency in voice, messaging, and positioning across all channels
- Support product and solution launches by creating sales- and campaign-aligned enablement content that supports prospecting and pipeline acceleration
- Apply SEO best practices to improve content discoverability, search rankings, and organic performance across web and campaign assets
Qualifications
- The ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently
- Intermediate proficiency in utilizing creative design applications such as Adobe Illustrator to create visually compelling graphics and designs
- Intermediate experience in using HTML and CSS for web design and development tasks
- Intermediate ability to apply SEO principles and best practices to enhance the visibility and performance of web designs
- Ability to create clear and effective technical documentation
Skills
- Completed Bachelor's Degree in Communication or a related field, or relevant work experience required
- 2–5+ years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or related roles
- Proven ability to write for executive and professional audiences (B2B experience preferred)
- Exceptional writing, editing, and content organization skills
- Ability to effectively utilize applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and execute responsibilities efficiently
- Travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events preferred
- Familiarity with product marketing concepts, including positioning, personas, and value propositions
- Experience creating sales-enablement or go-to-market-aligned content
- Comfort collaborating with subject matter experts and translating technical input into market-ready content
Pay
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
