Healthcare Data Integration Specialist (HL7 / Mirth / Cloverleaf)

About the role

Zenius Corporation is seeking an experienced Healthcare Data Integration Specialist to support a public health data integration initiative focused on Electronic Case Reporting (eCR).

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and maintain healthcare data integration solutions supporting Electronic Case Reporting (eCR).
• Develop and support interfaces using Mirth Connect and Cloverleaf.
• Configure and maintain secure data exchange between healthcare organizations and public health systems.
• Process, transform, validate, and troubleshoot HL7 and CDA-based healthcare messages.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
• Provide ongoing production support, system maintenance, and enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare data integration or interoperability.
• 10+ years supporting healthcare or public health information systems.
• 8+ years of experience working with healthcare messaging standards, including: HL7 v2.x (2.3.1 and 2.5.1), CDA / CCD / CCR, FHIR, SNOMED.
• Certification and hands-on experience with: Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise data integration solutions.
• Strong SQL Server experience.
• Experience with XML, message transformations, validation, and healthcare interoperability.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Electronic Case Reporting (eCR) initiatives.
• Experience integrating healthcare systems with public health surveillance platforms.
• Experience working with public health agencies or healthcare organizations.
• Knowledge of CDC electronic reporting standards and healthcare interoperability initiatives.
• Experience supporting healthcare onboarding and technical customer support.
• Familiarity with dashboard development, monitoring solutions, and automated alerting.
• Experience supporting secure healthcare data exchange and compliance with healthcare data privacy requirements.

Skills

• Cloverleaf Certification
• Mirth Connect Certification
• HL7 Certification (preferred)
• Healthcare interoperability certifications are a plus
