Healthcare Data Integration Engineer - ITS40

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure API integrations between internal systems and external vendors.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for data lake and data warehouse environments.
• Develop and maintain Qlik scripts and data models for analytics and reporting.
• Write complex SQL and JavaScript queries and optimize database performance.
• Develop automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Fx.
• Collaborate with IT, EHR, and leadership teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data security standards.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and implement proactive monitoring solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation for integrations and automation processes.

Qualifications

• Must be NYS resident for in-person accessibility.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in:
• API development and system integrations
• SQL database development
• JSON data structures
• JavaScript
• Qlik scripting and data modeling
• Microsoft Power Automate / Power Fx
• Experience working with data lakes and AWS data warehouse environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, Healthcare Informatics or related technical field.
• Experience (3–5+ years hands-on experience in API integrations and data engineering).
