About the role

Huron seeks a Senior Director to join our healthcare consulting team. This role is responsible for leading strategic initiatives, managing engagements, and driving business growth through innovative supply chain solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to streamline procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations, enhancing overall efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Manage engagement-wide economics, including budgets, revenue forecasting, margins, invoicing, and billing.
  • Build and manage strong executive-level and C-suite relationships, leading multi-faceted change processes and positively influencing change in complex environments.
  • Serve as engagement leaders, working closely with client senior leaders, and directing the Huron team to ensure project success.
  • Cultivate lasting, trusted advisor business relationships, closing new business and delivering value through effective communication and ROI analysis.

Requirements

  • Significant experience managing engagement-wide economics, including budgets, revenue forecasting, margins, invoicing, and billing.
  • Proven success in building strong executive-level and C-suite relationships, leading multi-faceted change processes, and positively influencing change in various complex environments.
  • Strong business development experience, identifying new sales opportunities, designing solutions, and effectively articulating value and return on investment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and designing large matrixed teams, including role expectations, team and culture building, coaching/mentoring, and accountability for team performance.
  • Extensive professional network, recognizing opportunities to enhance and expand executive level relationships and identify business development opportunities aligned with Huron’s capabilities.
  • Relevant hospital operations experience directing a large hospital department and/or team-based projects with a focus on process re-engineering/performance improvement initiatives and broad-based change management, or senior project leadership and complex design and implementation management experience within a consulting firm setting with a focus on supply chain services.
  • Bachelor's degree required, with 10+ years of consulting and/or healthcare operations experience.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time and work extended hours as needed.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, aligning with Huron’s core values and competencies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed to quickly establish relationships of trust and collaboration.
  • The ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project management and technical dimensions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Direct supervisory experience of both individuals and large, complex teams.

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this job is $225,000 - $275,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
