About the role
Health Supply Chain Management professionals help clients develop strategies and operating models integrating planning, sourcing, procurement, product design, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and validating supply chain assessments and strategic sourcing, product and service utilization based on evidence based practice and industry trends, procurement-to-payment processes, and fulfillment programs
- Development of specific solutions to address and prioritize opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Supervise process design activities
- Lead development of capabilities and key performance measurements/KPIs
- Develop and implement tracking and reporting tools for monitoring actual to proposed improvements
- Facilitate and support the use of value analysis processes to identify and implement value creation opportunities for clients
- Prepare the client for implementation (planning, tools, communications, training and measurement)
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain roles, with a focus on strategy development and supplier management.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in one or more of the following areas in healthcare: Consulting or a related field, Direct clinical support environment with purchasing or inventory, Healthcare support services environment, Healthcare ERP.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years’ work experience)
Qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following: Project Management, Business Model Development, Business Performance Management, Procurement Transformation, Supplier Relationship Management, Inventory Optimization, Procurement Performance Optimization, Strategic Sourcing, Procure to Pay, Procurement Diagnostics and Strategic Planning
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products: notably Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of healthcare supply chain principles and best practices

Pay
Annual Salary Range: $132,500 to $338,300
Schedule
Travel Requirements: Travel is required for this role and could vary from 10-75%.
