About the role
Sigma HomeCare is seeking a Business Development Representative to expand its Private Pay Division within Wayne County. This position involves frequent in-person interactions, facility presentations, and community engagement to foster strong referral relationships.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 40+ in-person visits weekly
- Prepare and deliver facility presentations
- Participate in community events and networking
- Ongoing follow-up with key referral partners including hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, and care coordinators
- Build and manage relationships with case managers, social workers, discharge planners, directors of nursing, rehabilitation directors, care coordinators, physicians, and practice managers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in business development, healthcare sales, community outreach, or account management
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
