About the role

Sigma HomeCare is seeking a Business Development Representative to expand its Private Pay Division within Wayne County. This position involves frequent in-person interactions, facility presentations, and community engagement to foster strong referral relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 40+ in-person visits weekly
  • Prepare and deliver facility presentations
  • Participate in community events and networking
  • Ongoing follow-up with key referral partners including hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, and care coordinators
  • Build and manage relationships with case managers, social workers, discharge planners, directors of nursing, rehabilitation directors, care coordinators, physicians, and practice managers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, healthcare sales, community outreach, or account management
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
