Responsibilities
- Research and respond to inquiries related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
- Conduct thorough research of complex policy and programmatic requirements.
- Craft written responses using plain language.
- Document precise and diligent notes for every case.
- Navigate the inquiry response system and database to research relevant data points.
- Maintain an individual dashboard to identify areas for improvement.
- Propose new language or edit existing language in the inquiry response knowledgebase.
- Triage cases, determine escalation needs, and document and track results.
- Identify process improvements and make recommendations to the Operations Manager.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document inquiry responses for ongoing regulatory changes.
- Review other team members’ inquiry responses for quality, accuracy, format, and grammar, and provide feedback.
- Participate in client meetings and document notes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of relevant full-time research, analytical, writing, and/or customer service experience.
- 2+ years of experience handling written and verbal inquiries related to health care, the ACA, and/or related issues.
- Advanced experience conducting research of complex policy and/or programmatic requirements.
- Excellent writing and verbal customer service skills.
- Experience using plain language to craft written responses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience triaging, routing, and resolving inquiries.
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
- Lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
Qualifications

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $55,806 - $65,550. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
