About The Role
The role oversees day-to-day administrative operations, compliance frameworks, and non-clinical management workflows within the US healthcare framework. The administrator acts as the operational bridge between regulatory bodies, clinical staff, and technical integration teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high-standard patient data security. This position is critical for scaling clinical infrastructure, driving strict adherence to HIPAA, state, and federal healthcare laws, and optimizing billing, scheduling, and electronic health record (EHR) workflows to minimize administrative friction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and audit electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and streamlined access controls
- Oversee healthcare billing operations, claims processing, and revenue cycle management in coordination with external clearinghouses
- Monitor, update, and enforce company-wide HIPAA compliance policies and coordinate annual staff training programs
- Facilitate licensing, credentialing, and enrollment processes for clinical staff across multiple states
- Analyze administrative operational metrics, including scheduling bottlenecks and billing error rates, to implement efficiency improvements
- Liaise with legal, clinical, and security teams to prepare for external state department and healthcare audits
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of experience in healthcare administration, clinic operations, or health system management
- Deep expertise in US healthcare regulations, specifically HIPAA, ACA, and state-level licensing standards
- Hands-on experience with modern EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth) and medical billing platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
- Excellent organizational and technical writing skills, with a track record of authoring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Bonus: Certified Healthcare Administrative Professional (cHAP) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) credentials
