About the role
Palo Verde Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Collections Rep to join our Business Office Team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the collection of facility claims with insurance companies.
- Follow-up on unpaid claims.
- Collection of assigned patient accounts by contacting patients and third-party payers to resolve all outstanding owed balances.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a collections or business office setting.
- Preferable knowledge of collection procedures, insurance filing procedures, CPT codes.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a level one fingerprint clearance.
