Health Unit Coordinator - Long Term Care - Child Center
About the role
This posting represents a full-time day shift position (Monday-Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm) with the potential to work weekends. Our Long-Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients. We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents require long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living. Our team is deeply committed to providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities.
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a nurturing environment.
- Work closely with respiratory therapy, rehab, and social work to provide holistic care.
- Support residents with activities of daily living, including long-term ventilator support and tracheostomy care.
Requirements
In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position. 1 year experience in healthcare facility. Education or training will be considered in lieu of experience. Proven track record of dependability and reliability.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
