Health Systems Strengthening Advisor
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Health Systems Strengthening Advisor to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will guide the planning, integration, and sustainability of health initiatives across complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You will work closely with government counterparts, donor organizations, and implementing partners to strengthen health systems and support effective transitions. The position also requires translating technical strategy into clear reports, briefings, and recommendations that help drive informed decision-making. This is a remote opportunity with meaningful exposure to global health work spanning multiple countries.
Location & compensation
Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $140,500 – $165,500 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop and review health systems strengthening plans for donor activity integration
- Provide technical guidance that aligns donor activities with national governance and health systems
- Coordinate with government and partners to facilitate transitions
- Monitor and evaluate integration effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Prepare reports, briefings, and technical documents for stakeholders
- Document lessons learned and best practices in health systems strengthening
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of health financing, health systems strengthening, and integration
- Experience in program transition and sustainability planning
- Strong understanding of governance, service delivery, health information systems, and supply chain management
- Ability to coordinate with government, donor, and implementing partners
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and report-writing abilities
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating integration and sustainability outcomes
- Master's degree in Public Health, Global Health, International Development, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in health systems strengthening, global health, or related fields
