Health Advisor

About the role

As a Health Advisor with Bupa Clinics, you'll support our customers by providing education on living healthier lives. Your primary focus will be on customer service during health assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support the service delivery of Health Assessments to customers
• Maintain accurate client records and participate in the entire process
• Promote and encourage a healthier lifestyle according to Bupa's clinical policies
• Perform clinical tests such as body composition analysis, spirometry, heart rate monitoring, gas analysis, diabetes blood test markers, blood pressure measurement, cholesterol profiling, anaemia blood test markers, electrocardiograms, audiometry, functional movement screening
• Create individual lifestyle action plans using motivational interviewing techniques to promote behavior change
• Conduct post-assessment calls to support positive change and action plans

Requirements

• Education to degree level or equivalent in exercise physiology, sports science, or nutrition
• Customer-facing experience
• Experience performing measurements or assessments in a health and fitness or medical environment (desirable)
• Accuracy in information recording and adherence to clinical guidelines
• Ability to build rapport with customers and tailor approaches to individuals
• Empathy and ability to motivate customers to make positive health changes

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in exercise physiology, sports science, or nutrition
