Health System Sales Representatives
About the role
Elsevier is seeking a motivated Health System Sales Representative to sell its market-leading Nurse Reference, Clinical Skills, and Continuing Education Learning solutions. This role involves prospecting within an assigned territory of hospitals, healthcare systems, and home health care facilities.
Responsibilities
- Identify key contacts and decision makers within a customer organization and develop exceptional relationships with those contacts.
- Create and implement Account Plans within the prospective accounts.
- Drive new business opportunities to exceed quota and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate effectively with all internal stakeholders including Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Implementation.
- Provide accurate reporting and forecasting of sales.
- Keep current records and build account profiles by updating account and contact information and managing account data in our CRM.
- Promote, drive, and deliver on any promotional product strategies.
- Perform effective product demonstrations remotely through Zoom or other technology-based applications.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of success from B2B sales, technology solution selling experience in healthcare or similar environment.
- A proven track-record of success in prospecting, closing new business, leading to consistent quota achievement.
- Demonstrate experience with “Consultative Selling” to identify and solve customer problems.
- Have experience selling technology solutions in a complex B2B/healthcare environment, or similar.
- Accurately forecast new business opportunities.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills, fluency in English.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment in healthcare.
- Able to travel as necessary, estimated 25% overnight.
- Able to work in a flexible manner to accommodate personal needs.
Qualifications

Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role. Pay
The U.S. National Base Pay Range for this role is $59,600 - $99,300. Total Target Cash Range is $91,600 - $152,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role.
