About the role

Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. The LPN will ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations while maintaining the highest quality of care. The role reflects a commitment to person-centered care and values the residents' home environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care.
• Collaborate with the department director or supervisor to maintain quality care standards.
• Model person-centered care and create a homelike environment for residents.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved LPN Program.
• Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience is a plus.
• I.V. Certification is a plus.

Pay

Starting at $28.00 per hour, plus shift differential with the Premium Pay Plan. Additional pay based upon experience.
