Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a compassionate and experienced Health Services Director to lead clinical operations within a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident care with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, and other healthcare providers.
• Oversee medication management and train Medication Technicians.
• Perform nursing assessments, medication administration, and treatments within the scope of nursing practice.
• Complete pre-admission assessments and ongoing resident evaluations.
• Coordinate medical, dental, vision, hearing, and podiatry services.
• Interview prospective residents and families and review admission documentation.
• Supervise clinical staff and provide coaching and education.
• Monitor resident health and communicate changes with the Executive Director, families, and care team.
• Ensure compliance with RCFE regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Active Hawaii LVN or RN license in good standing.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
• Preferred 1+ year of supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to obtain RCFE Administrator certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Current or ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to pass criminal background screening, physical examination, and TB testing.
