About the role

The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine is offering this academic appointment as Health Sciences Clinical Instructor/Fellow in conjunction with our non-ACGME Fellowship programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide extensive clinical training and opportunities for teaching and research in patient safety, quality improvement, quality monitoring, quality reporting and metrics.
  • Participate in innovative rotations that can include: Leadership in Perioperative Medicine, Medical Education Simulation, Obstetric Anesthesiology, and Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O., or equivalent degree.
  • Candidate must complete an ACGME accredited Anesthesia residency program prior to start date of Fellowship program.
  • Candidate must obtain a California medical license and DEA prior to start date of Fellowship program.
  • Candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible for certification in Anesthesiology.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. , or equivalent degree.
