Health Safety and Security Coordinator

SRK Consulting is an independent, international consulting practice providing globally integrated consulting services to the international mining and metals sector.

Responsibilities

• Update the ISOS platform when employee travel plans change and provide support for travel tracking when the Security Advisor is unavailable.
• Update new employee and site additions/requirements in the Salus platform.
• Verify client connections on the Safety Pre-Qualification Platform to reduce potentially unneeded costs and maintain compliance requirements to ensure good standing.
• Manage the Resource Library by verifying the most updated or current HSS documents are published while archiving outdated documents.
• Continually audit the HSS Homepage to ensure effectiveness, accuracy, and functionality.
• Support Claude initiatives and provide additional project support.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Experience in coordination/administration roles in related operational environments (consulting, field operations, or similar).
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and departments on shared systems and processes.

Technical Skills

• Comfortable working with web-based systems (dashboards/portals, trackers, online platforms).
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or online training content is an asset.
• Proficient with standard office software (spreadsheets, documents, presentations) for data tracking and reporting.

Core Competencies

• Strong organizational and administrative skills; able to manage multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly for compliance-related records and documentation.
• Process-oriented mindset with ability to suggest and implement practical improvements (“fresh eyes” on workflows).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; comfortable coordinating across offices and time zones.
• Reliable, responsive, and able to support time-sensitive updates (e.g., travel changes).

Pay

Hourly rate: $30.53–$38.46 USD.
