Health, Safety and Environmental Manager

About the role

The Health, Safety and Environmental Manager oversees all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management within the organization. This includes developing and implementing policies, conducting regular audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Train employees on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
• Manage emergency response plans and conduct drills as necessary.
• Collaborate with legal and insurance teams to mitigate risks and manage claims.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management.
• Proven track record of successful implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and engage employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing large-scale projects and teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
