Health & Safety Administrative Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of safety training, certifications, and incident reports.
• Ensure OSHA logs and company safety files are up-to-date and audit-ready.
• Support the input and maintenance of accurate safety and incident data.
• Generate monthly or quarterly reports on safety metrics, training completion rates, and incident trends.
• Manage relationships with safety equipment, PPE, and training vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels of safety supplies, place orders, and track expenditures within budget guidelines.
• Assist with the scheduling and logistics of employee safety briefings, onboarding compliance, and external safety training courses.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience working in an office-based support role preferred
• Accounting experience a plus
• OSHA 10 or 30 a plus
• Vendor management experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
• 75% travel is expected for this role
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to view computer screens for prolonged durations
