Health Room Assistant

About the role

The District is seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and professional Health Room Assistant to join our student health services team for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for our students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Providing health room support and direct care to students in accordance with district policies
• Maintaining flexibility to work across various school buildings and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Communicating with a friendly, empathetic, and professional demeanor when interacting with students, parents, and school personnel
• Accurately logging health visits and managing student records

Requirements

• An active Pennsylvania LPN or RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Some proficiency with technology to work with tools such as Google Drive and the Student Information System

• A strong customer service mindset
• The ability to demonstrate a positive and patient attitude with children
