Health Physics Technician Trainee

Essential Functions And Job Responsibilities

• Performs radiological assessment surveys.
• Collections air samples/smears to determine radioactivity.
• Collects/analyzes/records data related to dosimetry.
• Instructs and oversees personnel on Radiological Work Permits, PPE, etc.
• Maintains documentation.
• Monitors time and intensity of personnel exposure.
• Trains in first aid and emergency response.

Qualifications for the HPT Trainee role

• Ability to work in a support role, including communicating verbal and written instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of high school Algebra and one year of high school physical science.

Compensation

*(Bargaining Unit)* Hourly Wage Range Starting hourly rate is $32.543
