About the role
A prominent full-service New York law firm is seeking an experienced Health Law Partner or Of Counsel to join and help grow an established healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of sophisticated healthcare transactional and regulatory experience and be interested in joining a collaborative platform with the infrastructure, cross-practice support, and business-development resources to expand their practice.
Responsibilities
- Advise healthcare organizations, providers, executives, and other industry participants across complex state and federal healthcare matters, including:
- Healthcare transactions
- Physician and provider arrangements
- Regulatory compliance
- Federal and state healthcare laws
- Business structuring
- Healthcare contracting
- Insurance carrier audits
- Hospital credentialing matters
- Strategic and operational healthcare counseling
- Risk management and regulatory matters
- Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, litigation, employment, real estate, financial services, and other complementary practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of health law experience
- Significant healthcare transactional experience
- Deep knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulatory frameworks
- Experience advising sophisticated healthcare clients
- Strong client relationship and business-development skills
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
- Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- New York Bar admission required
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Qualifications
A portable book of approximately $250,000 or more is strongly preferred. The platform is particularly interested in attorneys who want the infrastructure and complementary practice capabilities necessary to grow an existing client base and expand their healthcare practice.

Pay
Target base salary: $190,000–$300,000 per year. Final compensation will depend on experience, seniority, portable business, relevant expertise, and overall contribution to the platform.
