Health Information Technology Specialist Central

About the role

We are currently seeking Health Information Technology Specialists to support an IQVIA pharmaceutical client partnership. The ideal candidate will be part of multiple cardiovascular brands in the US market as a Health Information Technology Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Support integration of the brand into EHR systems across priority accounts
• Identify and address barriers affecting patient care, access, treatment processes, patient identification, and overall end-user experience
• Share insights to enhance patient care and support population health approaches at both in-patient and outpatient sites of care
• Develop and implement comprehensive customer-specific plans
• Collaborate with customers including end users, licensed clinicians, IT informatics team, quality EHR manager, and analysts to provide meaningful insights
• Act as a subject matter expert to both internal and external stakeholders with matrix partners across account management, medical, and other cross-functional partners
• Share insights around optimizing EHR systems to address gaps in patient care including Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Department

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required; minimum of 4 years working in design, build, and/or testing expertise and experience with EHR software, including: Epic, Cerner, Meditech, McKesson preferred; and/or within a Health System informatics group or team at leadership level, or similar role within a pharmaceutical company.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare and health information technology, and software build, and/or optimization techniques
• Team player with the willingness/ability to work in a matrix environment
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude, flexibility

Preferred

• Master’s degree
• Clinical IT experience, Pharmacy IT, or Nursing Informatics
• Pharmaceutical or Life Science Health IT Specialist experience
• B2B or software sales experience

Pay

The potential base pay range for this role is $125,000 - $135,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).

Schedule

Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
