Health Information Technology Specialist Central
About the role
We are currently seeking Health Information Technology Specialists to support an IQVIA pharmaceutical client partnership. The ideal candidate will be part of multiple cardiovascular brands in the US market as a Health Information Technology Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Support integration of the brand into EHR systems across priority accounts
- Identify and address barriers affecting patient care, access, treatment processes, patient identification, and overall end-user experience
- Share insights to enhance patient care and support population health approaches
- Develop and implement comprehensive customer-specific plans
- Collaborate with customers including end users, licensed clinicians, IT informatics team, quality, EHR Manager, and analysts
- Act as a subject matter expert for EHR systems
- Optimize EHR systems to address gaps in patient care
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in design, build, and/or testing expertise and experience with EHR software, including: Epic, Cerner, Meditech, McKesson (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare and health information technology, and software build, and/or optimization techniques
- Team player with the willingness/ability to work in a matrix environment
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude, and flexibility
- Preferred: Master’s degree, Clinical IT experience, Pharmacy IT, or Nursing Informatics, Pharmaceutical or Life Science Health IT Specialist experience, B2B or software sales experience
Qualifications
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can be both a strategic partner and outcomes-driven
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed
Benefits
IQVIA offers a competitive base pay range of $125,000 - $135,000 annually, with the actual offer varying based on qualifications and other factors. Additional compensation may include incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation, along with a range of health and welfare benefits.
Pay
The potential base pay range for this role is $125,000 - $135,000 annually.
