Health Information Supervisor

The Service Delivery Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the HIS staff. The role focuses on front-line people management and training, as well as ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines. This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental or regional projects, and provides support to the Service Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workforce operations, ensuring adequate staffing coverage and maintaining high levels of productivity and service delivery.
• Manage team schedules and PTO coverage, approve and monitor timecards.
• Oversee people operations activities such as coaching, performance management, employee engagement, attendance, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Track and drive key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze operational performance, meet with clients to discuss service delivery and operational needs, and serve as the primary point of escalation for team and client concerns.
• Coordinate resources across teams to maintain seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
• Lead the Audit Team which receives requests from payors; review data and provide client and leadership solutions.
• Manage incoming requests from the client’s Risk Management Team.
• Lead client locations and plan for fluctuating needs.
• Oversee escalation calls from centralized call centers.
• Participate in project teams and committees to advance operational strategies and initiatives.
• Coordinate with location/client management on complex issues while building strong relationships.

Position Highlights

• Hybrid and travel-intensive leadership role requiring regular on-site presence across multiple supported locations in the Columbia, SC territory (including Lancaster, Florence, and Kershaw areas).
• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm EST.

What You Will Bring

• 1–2 years of Health Information–related experience.
• Well-versed with HIPAA standards.
• Ability to support clients and your team working both on-site and remotely.
• Knack for presenting to leadership, clients, and your team via video or in person.
• Solution provider and forward-thinking mindset.
• Detail- and quality-oriented as it relates to accurate and compliant information for medical records.
• Proficiency with Power BI and Microsoft Office.
• Bonus: EMR experience with Epic or Cerner.
• Previous production/metric-based work experience.
• Team-building experience and a track record of elevating individuals’ careers.
