Health Information Management and Billing & Coding Instructor - Adjunct

Responsibilities

• Planning and organizing instructional materials and methods.
• Aligning coursework with programmatic accreditation requirements (if applicable).
• Facilitating interactive and inclusive classroom and online learning environments.
• Providing individual guidance and academic support to students.
• Evaluating student performance and delivering timely, constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirement: Master’s Degree in Health Information Management or a related field.
• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential.
• At least two (2) years of professional experience in Health Information Management or a related healthcare field.
• Preferred Attribute: Previous teaching or training experience in higher education.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
