Specific Responsibilities

• Community Engagement Specialist: Leads outreach strategies, establishes partnerships, plans and delivers community events, health education workshops, and public information campaigns. Supports cross-sector collaborations.
• Mental Health Telehealth: Coordinates mental health telehealth access points and promotes the program to community members.
• Positive Youth Development: Facilitates PYD sessions, supports youth leadership activities, and organizes related events.
• Budget Management: Maintains assigned program budgets, performs administrative tasks, and ensures compliance with purchasing procedures.
• Accreditation Support: Assists with the accreditation process, including planning and coordinating DOHW initiatives, and supporting quality improvement reviews.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Driver's License
• Experience with public speaking, event planning, and community partnerships preferred
• Knowledge of computer software and public health education
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage program budgets
