About the Role
This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Office of the Director, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Providing training on program, project, and strategy implementation, including directing training and developing and managing training courses, curricula, and tools.
- Leading the development of division, center, or agency-wide digital-based communications plans (social media, mobile, web).
- Monitoring an approval system for clearing and cross-clearing communication and marketing projects, research, and messages.
- Presenting health communication briefings or presentations to various groups, including federal, state, and local constituents.

Requirements
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.
- Experience performing all listed duties (training, digital communications, approval systems, and presentations).
- Documentation of experience, including dates and hours worked if part-time, must be provided. Federal employees may include experience outside their official series if documented by a signed memorandum from their supervisor or an SF-50/SF-52.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, professional, philanthropic, religious, community, student, or social organizations). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and may be credited if documented.
