About the role
The Health Careers Instructor, Part-time Adjunct Pool position at Kern Community College District is available for immediate consideration. This is a part-time, hourly instructor role designed to staff assignments for Cerro Coso Community College. The position may include teaching at various locations, times, and modalities.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction in a full range of health career topics.
- Teach at various campus sites, day and evening classes, weekends, large classes, and distance learning.
- Develop and revise curriculum.
- Maintain subject matter currency.
- Assess student learning outcomes.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Participate in recruitment and articulation activities with local schools, colleges, and universities.
- Use computer and multimedia technology.
- Collaborate with colleagues in promoting innovation, teaching, learning, and service to a diverse student population.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree and 2 years related professional experience OR
- Associate degree and 6 years related professional experience OR
- The equivalent.
