Health Careers Instructor, Part-time Adjunct Pool (ESCC)

About the role

The Health Careers Instructor, Part-time Adjunct Pool position at Kern Community College District is available for immediate consideration. This is a part-time, hourly instructor role designed to staff assignments for Cerro Coso Community College. The position may include teaching at various locations, times, and modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in a full range of health career topics.
• Teach at various campus sites, day and evening classes, weekends, large classes, and distance learning.
• Develop and revise curriculum.
• Maintain subject matter currency.
• Assess student learning outcomes.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Participate in recruitment and articulation activities with local schools, colleges, and universities.
• Use computer and multimedia technology.
• Collaborate with colleagues in promoting innovation, teaching, learning, and service to a diverse student population.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree and 2 years related professional experience OR
• Associate degree and 6 years related professional experience OR
• The equivalent.
