Health Care Supervisor - Murdoch
About the role
The Infirmary is currently recruiting for a 2nd shift Health Care Supervisor (HCS). This position serves as a building charge and provides supervision to one Health Care Technician II and approximately seven Health Care Technician I’s that directly care for people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee individual treatment, care and programming for people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
- Ensure staff receive support, assistance, coaching and supplies necessary to meet the needs of the people served.
- Ensure required documentation is completed and that the environment is monitored for infection prevention and safety issues.
- Cook up and coordinate the monthly 2nd shift HCT schedule and ensure staff coverage for 2nd shift on a daily basis.

Qualifications
The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
- Experience in training, supervising, and evaluating the work of others.
Skills
The applicant will be required to successfully complete the Murdoch Developmental Center “Basic Training Series”; which includes, but is not limited to program library training, First Aid, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Techniques (NVCI), CPR, Body Mechanics and lifting.

Recruitment Range: $35,770.00 - $53,654.00
