About the role
Conducts surveys of long-term care facilities to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform facility surveys to assess compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage the survey process independently and effectively.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve care quality.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dietetics.
- Current licensure as a Registered Dietitian.
- Completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
- Minimum of two years' recent experience in accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities.
- Strong decision-making abilities, independence, and effective prioritization skills.
- Capable of discussing conflicts openly and seeking assistance when necessary.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
