Health Care Director

Job Highlights

We are seeking an outstanding individual to lead the nursing team as a Health Care Director. You will spearhead clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning, and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.

Responsibilities

• Making sure medication management is monitored
• Conducting resident assessments
• Providing leadership and guidance on health issues
• Offering onsite medical care
• Communicating changing medical needs to the team and family members
• Championing high quality and infection control
• Verifying physician orders
• Communicating move-in/move-out information
• Supervising the ordering, delivery, transcription, and documentation of medication, treatments, and orders under your authority.

Requirements

• Current LPN or RN nursing license in the state
• Previous supervisory experience which includes management, coaching, and health care services
• Able to read, speak, and write English clearly
• Prior experience in supervising direct care staff preferred
