Job Duties
- Prepares food, including but not limited to: washing, trimming, cutting, portioning, measuring, mixing, and panning;
- Cooks food including: baking, broiling, frying, steaming, braising, boiling, and pressure cooking;
- Operates and cleans all food preparation equipment, including but not limited to: grills, broilers, ovens, steamer tables, mixers, microwave ovens, toasters, etc.
- Complies with all food preparation standards and health and safety requirements;
- Maintains sanitary standards for the handling, transportation, and storage of food;
Requirements
- Skilled nursing or retirement community cooking experience (Required)
- Experience with dietary restrictions and modified diets (Required)
- Scratch cooking experience (Preferred)
- Fine dining and/or Country Club cooking experience (Preferred)
- Culinary education (Preferred)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately

Pay and Schedule
- Pay range: $20-23 per hour, base pay, depending on years of experience, plus a $1000 Sign-On Bonus!
- Schedules Available (NO MORE LATE NIGHTS!): Full Time, Thursday – Saturday from 10:30 AM – 7PM and Sunday - Monday from 6AM - 2:30PM
