About the role

The Health Care Assistant at Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, Inc. will provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals. Responsibilities include assisting with examinations, administering medications, and providing health education services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient examinations
• Administer prescribed medications
• Provide health education and counseling services
• Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
• Current certification as a Health Care Assistant or equivalent
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passing a background check
