About the role

The Health Care Assistant at Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, Inc. will provide direct patient care services under the supervision of licensed medical professionals. Responsibilities include assisting with examinations, administering medications, and providing health education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient examinations and procedures
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Provide health education and counseling to patients
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during visits
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Experience in healthcare or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
