About the Role

The health assistant supports the school nurse in delivering first aid to sick or injured students, conducting hearing and vision screenings, and implementing programs that maintain district-wide standards of care. This position requires current first aid and CPR certification. A background in the health field is recommended.

Candidates offered a position must pass a criminal history background check at their own expense. Final employment is contingent on background check results. The district reserves the right to assign employees to specific buildings.
