This position supports multiple locations and will involve travel between the buildings. The Health Assistant will work in collaboration with the District’s School Nurses to help coordinate the health services to students and ensure that all health services comply with Federal and State laws and standards. The Health Assistant will provide assistance and care of sick and injured students, maintain health and medical documentation for the school, perform medical procedures as necessary, and is part of the educational team for health education and promotion. This position is scheduled for 35.5 hours per week, with a schedule of 7:30am to 3:30pm M, T, TH & F and 7:30am to 1:30pm on Wednesdays. Starting wage for this position is $16.00/hour plus benefits.
