Health and Safety Specialist, CHST

Responsibilities

• Overall administration of company safety & health program
• Supervision and support of all company safety standards
• Safety Training and Education
• Attend pre-work meetings including preparatory meetings
• Maintain a weekly list of high-hazard activities
• Provide and keep a record of site safety orientation and indoctrination
• All other duties associated with a Health and Safety position

Requirements

• OSHA 30 and CHST
• First Aid and CPR certification
• High School diploma
• Must have VALID, unrestricted driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a government background check

Pay and Schedule

This position will have an 11 day on, 3 day off schedule, with overtime paid at time and a half.
