Essential Functions

  • Implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration PHMSA, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), and Department of Transportation / Federal Motor Carrier Administration (DOT/FMCSA).
  • Perform safety audits and inspections on a daily basis.
  • Correct deficiencies identified, prepare written reports of findings, and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures.
  • Assist with maintaining safety files and records with corporate management.
  • Conduct post-accident investigations.

Required Eligibility Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of related field experience and/or training in 1910 General Industry and 1926 Construction.
  • Must have valid driver’s license for vehicle type driven with an acceptable, clean driving record.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 lbs.
  • The noise level in the work environment is [insert noise level if provided].

Hours of Work

  • Typical week will consist of Monday – Friday, 8-10 hours per day.
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by [employer's policy].
