About the role

Responsible for leading a team of 10 engineers in developing innovative solutions for automation and robotics projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with industrial automation systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new automation technologies and robotic systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test prototypes
  • Conduct research and development on emerging automation technologies
  • Train and mentor junior engineers in automation principles and practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in automation and robotics
  • Experience with PLC programming and control systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of robotics and automation standards and best practices
  • Experience with machine learning and AI in automation
