About the role
Responsible for leading a team of 10 engineers in developing innovative solutions for automation and robotics projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with industrial automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new automation technologies and robotic systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test prototypes
- Conduct research and development on emerging automation technologies
- Train and mentor junior engineers in automation principles and practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in automation and robotics
- Experience with PLC programming and control systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Knowledge of robotics and automation standards and best practices
- Experience with machine learning and AI in automation
