About the role
The Health and Safety Assistant is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Train employees on safety protocols
- Respond to and investigate workplace accidents and incidents
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety management role
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- First aid/CPR certification

Pay
$20 - $25 per hour based on experience
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
