HEALTH AND SAFETY ANALYST 2

U.S. Citizenship required. Full-time, 1st shift. Travel required 10%-25% of the time.

About the Role

Identifies hazardous workplace conditions and takes preliminary samples and measurements of hazardous forces and toxic substances. Removes hazards and/or protects employees by guarding, revising work procedures, and training or requiring use of protective clothing and personal protective equipment. Ensures workplace conditions comply with applicable federal and state occupational safety and health standards, labor agreements, and maintains all required records. Participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections and procedures following citations. Investigates, prepares, and forwards reports on injuries and fatalities. Conducts safe work procedures training courses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience
• OR Master’s Degree and 0 years of relevant professional experience
• OR NNS Apprentice School graduate
• OR Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
• OR Associate's Degree or other formal 2-year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
• OR Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
• OR High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience, or other relevant exempt experience
• OR High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience, or other relevant non-exempt experience

Pay

Salary range: $74,000.00 to $93,000.00. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
