Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey Health & Physical Education certificate
- Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate preferred
- Current CPR and AED certificates or willingness to obtain them
- Knowledge of the NJ Student Learning Standards for Comprehensive Health and Physical Education
- Familiarity with current best practices in Health and Physical Education
- Experience differentiating instruction and using inclusive teaching strategies
- Understanding of Least Restrictive Environment regulations
- Strong classroom management skills
- Proficiency with Google for Education tools
Pay
Salary range: $60,073 – $87,073 (as per the negotiated contract and commensurate with level of education).
