Health Actuarial Manager/Senior Manager (Valuation/Reserving)

About the role

Partner with clients including top tier insurance companies, healthcare systems, regulatory agencies and large employers with captive programs.

Work on projects centred around valuations and reserve development for medical and other A&H products, captive feasibility, funding, reserving, and risk/capital management. There may also be scope to work on merger and acquisition support amongst other projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients including top tier insurance companies, healthcare systems, regulatory agencies and large employers with captive programs.
• Work on projects centred around valuations and reserve development for medical and other A&H products, captive feasibility, funding, reserving, and risk/capital management. There may also be scope to work on merger and acquisition support amongst other projects.

Requirements

• FSA or ASA designation
• Extensive actuarial experience from within the health insurance or healthcare provider market
• Experience of working on valuation and reserving projects
