Head Volleyball Coach

Location: Regional Practice & Tournament Sites

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, high-caliber Head Volleyball Coach to lead our Women’s Semi-Professional Volleyball Team for the upcoming season. This role requires an individual with high-level playing and coaching experience who can build competitive practice structures, manage high-level adult athletes, and lead the team to victory in regional and national competition.

Responsibilities

• Practice Design & Execution: Create, prepare, and execute structured, high-intensity practice plans tailored to advanced skill levels and strategic play.
• On-Court Coaching: Lead twice-weekly practice sessions focused on tactical development, positional training, team chemistry, and in-game scenarios.
• Tournament Management: Coach all scheduled tournament matches, providing real-time technical adjustments, game strategy, lineup management, and scouting adaptations.
• Program Leadership: Set a high standard for team culture, communication, and professional conduct both on and off the court.
• Roster & Match Coordination: Collaborate with organization leadership regarding player evaluation, match feedback, and logistical readiness for major events.

Requirements

• Playing Experience: Prior competition experience at the collegiate level. (NCAA Division 1 level or pro experience highly valued)
• Coaching Experience: Proven track record coaching at the Elite Club or HS Level. (collegiate or semi-pro coaching highly valued)

Schedule

• Practices: Must be available 2 times per week throughout the season (January – May). We are happy to discuss current club schedules / commitments.
• Tournaments: Must commit to at least 80% of the full weekend tournament schedule between January and May.
• Post-Season / Championship: Mandatory availability for Adult Nationals over Memorial Day Weekend.

Pay

• $20.00 / hour (Practices & Program Prep)
• $150.00 / day (Tournaments)

Season Duration: January – May 2027 + Practices/Tryouts beginning November - December 2026
