Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach

About the role

The Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach will lead the team in achieving excellence on and off the court. The coach will be responsible for developing players' skills, fostering a positive team culture, and preparing the team for competitive matches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive basketball program that promotes athletic development and sportsmanship.
• Manage team practices, games, and travel arrangements.
• Work closely with the Athletic Director and other coaches to ensure the success of the program.
• Attend all school functions and events related to the program.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in coaching, education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful coaching experience at the high school level.
• Proven ability to motivate and develop young athletes.
• Experience with NCAA rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and strategies.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
